After school club news Summer term

This term we are running clubs four nights a week and inviting parents and carers to come along and join their children and have some fun with them and possibly learn some new skills and games to play at home with our children.

Greenhouse -Mon & Tues have led the way in parent/carers accompanying their children to share activity ideas in the after school sports club.  Also some parents have joined the Stay and Play in the holidays and they have found this really positive seeing how their children engage in a variety of activities from trampolining, scooter boarding and football.

iCandance  -Weds offers an afterschool dance club on Wednesdays from 3:45-4;45pm for ages 11 plus years at Swiss Cottage school. Their sessions are fun, interactive and filled with opportunities to be creative, explore new movements , socialise and perform. They currently have 9 dancers attending and look forward to inviting more young people from Swiss Cottage to come along and join in the creative fun!

Wallball UK  - Weds have been working in school for the last eight weeks with a range of our learners at the Swiss Cottage Sports Centre every Wednesday afternoon.   This is a new sport and our learners are really enjoying this hand eye ball game.  They would like to start an after school club on a Wednesday from 3.45-4.45 starting as soon as they have enough numbers for a game.  All parents are invited to come along and join in this very simple and active handball game.  Call reception if you are interested to either observe or take part with your child.  There will be no cost for this club.

The Middlesex Cricket Club - Weds is still running at the Swiss Cottage Sports Centre and this caters for our older independent travellers.  Please see the flyer if you want to join this group.

The@trical - Thurs drama teacher started working with us again this week and Nancy  will be focusing on the lower school children.  This was a very popular class in the autumn term.  Nancy will be working with a range of lower school classes and will also be offering an after school drama club if there is a viable group. Pleasse see the flyer for contact details
