Dear Parents, Carers, and Families
We hope this finds you well. We are writing to inform of an update on additional positive cases of COVID-19. This is related to classes that are already on self-isolation and will not impact on any other classes.
Four staff members have tested positive for COVID-19 and they were already in self-isolation. We have worked closely with the Public Health England’s London Coronavirus Response Cell team and Camden & Islington Public Health teams throughout the day yesterday to complete assessments.
There is no additional impact on our school and we remain open. We are monitoring the health of the staff and pupils that are currently on self-isolation. This is alongside a focus on supporting the wellbeing of the pupils and staff in light of this very complex period for our school community.
Please continue to monitor your child and family for symptoms. If your child develops any symptoms, please contact the school. The most common symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) are:
- a new continuous cough
- a high temperature
- a loss of, or change in, your normal sense of taste or smell (anosmia)
Thank you for supporting us and one another during this complex time. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact reception on 02076818080, email support@swisscottage.camden.sch.uk, or speak to us at the school gates. We want to ensure you are supported.
Yours Sincerely,
Vijita Patel Rebecca Shaw
Principal Vice Principal
