Dear Parents, Carers, and Families

We are writing to inform you that over the weekend we received confirmation of additional staff and pupils that have tested positive for COVID-19. We have worked closely with the Public Health England’s London Coronavirus Response Cell team.

  1. 1 pupil and 4 staff have tested positive within the Orange Bubble. They were already on self-isolation and this reflects the importance of this self-isolation period.
  2. A NHS Speech and Language Therapist tested positive. They were on-site within the symptom development period. Two classes were close contacts during that time and have moved into self-isolation: Snowdrop and Lotus Class. Those two classes are within the Navy Blue bubble.  We contacted each family and staff member to move them into self-isolation during the weekend. We are supporting them as they access the Virtual School.

We completed an additional check with Public Health England this morning and the enhanced protective measures that are in place are confirmed as safe and secure. A summary of our safety measures is located on the school website here:

Please continue to monitor your child and family for symptoms. If your child develops any symptoms, please contact the school. The most common symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) are:

  • a new continuous cough
  • a high temperature
  • a loss of, or change in, your normal sense of taste or smell (anosmia)

Thank you for supporting us and one another during this complex time. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact reception on 02076818080, email, or speak to us at the school gates. We want to ensure you are supported.

Yours Sincerely,

Vijita Patel     Rebecca Shaw
