Dear Parents, Carers, and Families,

We hope this finds you well. Your child is currently in the Virtual School due to self-isolation for 14 days with a close contact in Pink Bubble.

The Department for Education has updated the self-isolation guidance and it is now reduced to 10 days.

This means we are bringing your child’s class back to school from Wednesday, 16th December 2020. We will inform the Local Authority transport if your child travels on this. The class teams for Martin Luther King Class, Rosa Parks Class, and Gandhi Class will all return to school tomorrow.

If your child has any symptoms they should not return. Please let your class teacher know if you are concerned they may have symptoms and we can support you to get booked for a test. The staff who are currently off with symptoms will not return to the school either in order to ensure everybody’s safety.

We realise this may be surprising and want to reassure you that this is not a decision we have taken individually. The Department for Education provided the guidance update and we have confirmed this decision with Camden Local Authority.

Please let us know if you have any questions and we will ensure they get answered. Your class teacher is contacting you this morning to talk you through this letter.

Thank you and have a good day.

Yours Sincerely,

Vijita Patel Rebecca Shaw Matthew Maguire
Principal Vice Principal Assistant Principal
