Dear Families,

The start of autumn is being felt with the cooler wet weather. Learning across pathways is exploring the seasonal changes. The start of community learning was a huge success this week for pupils in Lower and Upper School.

Makaton Training: Tuesday, 15th October 10:00-11:30am: The Parent/Carer Coffee Morning workshop is with the fantastic NHS Speech and Language Therapy Team. They will be teaching Makaton basics. Evidence for Learning technical support is also available.

Pupil 'School Photo' Days: We have booked the excellent team from Tempest Photography for your child's school photos. Order forms will come to you with the school photo after the sessions are completed.

- Lower School pupils will have their photos taken on Friday, 18th October 2024. Sibling photos will also be taken on this day.

- Upper School pupils will have their photos taken on Monday, 18th November 2024.

Family Learning Week:

Tuesday 22nd October – Thursday, 24th October 2024. The date/time for your child’s class session was in last week's newsletter and home-school communication book. Please fill out that sign-up sticker in your child's home-school communication book by Monday, 14th October 2024 so that we can update class teachers. They will want to prepare the pupils for their special guests.
NHS Flu Jabs: Your child's bag included a letter from the NHS health team on their November flu jab clinic. Please check this important letter, and contact the NHS nursing team or your GP if you have any questions.
