Dear Families,
This week, we have started a new range of lunch clubs across the school hosted by our specialist PE team and delivered by the Arsenal outreach team. Sessions offered include football, multi-skills and general physical activity and is available to all children in the playground at lunchtime who want to join in from Monday to Friday. We are continuing to encourage and promote physical activity and active play both in the playground and within lessons.
For any of our families who would like to spend some time viewing a typical morning of learning in Upper School, on Tuesday 19th 10 – 10.45am, we are offering a tour of Upper School (Y7 through to sixth form) and on Thursday 21st at 10 – 10.45am we are offering a tour of Lower School (Early Years to Year 6). You are all welcome to come and soak up the atmosphere and also to speak to senior leads who will host the tour. Next week we will send home an invitation in the home/school diaries so that you can let us know if you intend to join.
Family Learning Week will be in the next half-term (the week beginning June 8th), where families will be invited into classrooms to join in with lessons alongside their children.
A reminder that this Saturday 9th May at 5pm, a choir will be singing at a local church to raise money for the school charity (see the flyer below for Fellow Singers – Pure Gold concert) and anyone who would like to attend is most welcome. We also hope that lots of you can join our upcoming Coffee Morning on 12th May to plan upcoming fundraisers or to talk to senior leads about school funding.
Upcoming Coffee Mornings (Tuesdays at 10am):
I hope that you have a lovely weekend.
