Coffee Mornings & Eye Care
Thank you to everyone who attended the Cofee morning on the 6th October. Our next coffee morning is on Tuesday 13 October, when SeeAbility will share information about free in-school eye tests (opt-in) for your children. Families, carers and extended family are welcome to attend. Further coffee morning dates will follow.
SEND Fathers’ Support Group
Camden SENDIASS is running a supportive WhatsApp group for fathers and father figures. To join this group, please email sendiass@camden.gov.uk
Flu Vaccinations
Thank you to families who had consented to flu vaccinations last week. With some flu and cold-related absences this week, the timing feels especially welcome. There will be another opportunity in December for pupils who have not yet received the vaccine and we will share further information whn we can.
Roadworks Near School
The UK Power Networks have scheduled works which may delay school journeys. Please allow extra travel time, especially around Adelaide Road and Avenue Road.
23 October - up to 2 weeks: Avenue Road/Adelaide Road: directional closure, lane restrictions and signed diversion via Finchley, Wellington and Prince Albert Roads.
There wull be restrictions also at the King Henry’s Road and Winchester Road approaches.
6 November - up to 4 weeks: Adelaide Road lane closure near King Henry’s Road and Winchester Road. The UCL Academy bus stop will be suspended.
Phase 3 – dates to follow: Temporary lights on Adelaide Road and closures at Winchester Road and King Henry’s Walk junctions, with local diversions.
Harley Road has no announced closure but may experience diverted traffic. Please note that plans may change.
Dates for your Diary
Monday 19 October – INSET day – A Staff training day where the school will be closed to pupils.
Friday 23 October – We break up for half-term after a full day of school, at the usual collection time.
26–30 October – Half-term holiday.
