Swiss Cottage School is a community maintained special needs school in the London Borough of Camden for pupils aged 4 to 19 identified with complex needs profiles. https://swisscottage.camden.sch.uk/
We are recruiting for a SEN PMLD classroom teacher for our upper school to start in September / October 2026. We welcome applications from candidates who may require a flexible start date to accommodate existing notice periods.
Requirements
- Experience with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties and Multi-Sensory Impairments
- Knowledge of Cognition and Learning of pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities.
- Knowledge of personalised communication for e.g. Makaton, PECS
- Ongoing training to enhance this is available within our school team.
The school has 5 curriculum pathways across Early Years, Primary, Secondary, and Post-16 provision within one school building.
