Dear Families,

We hope this finds you well as we feel the seasonal change with the colder weather.

The school puts ‘Enrichment’ into the school day through lunchtime clubs that are run by our talented staff members. The lunchtime clubs are a way for pupils to take part in activities with their friends, and they also have the option of play in the different school playground zones. We build this into the school day because the majority of our pupils travel home on Local Authority Transport. Class teams link to the specialist team to plan the groupings and rotations.

London Zoo: The school is a member of the ZSL Education Access Scheme, and we were so pleased to welcome team members from the London Zoo to meet with teachers this week. We are working together to plan curriculum learning at the Zoo across all pathways.

Parent Representative Meeting for Autumn Term: We are in the process of calling all of the allocated parent representatives to confirm their role. The Autumn Term meeting is scheduled to take place on Friday 24th November at 10am. We will schedule a second one for anyone who can’t make this time. We will be discussing a fundraising event, arts curriculum workshops, and other interesting topics.

Holiday Food Appeal: We are supporting the Camden Foodbank to bring longlife emergency food parcels to local families in food crisis. Please see the attached flyer and bring any donations to the school reception. Our Sixth Form will be involved in delivering the donation from the Swiss Cottage School community. You can make direct donations to the Foodbank through the addresses or internet shopping details on the flyer. Thank you for your support.
