SCS Newsletter 15/12/2023

Dear Families,

Our final week of the Autumn Term is next week, and we are looking forward to a festive end to the term. Class teams and specialists teams have made the learning environments multi-sensory with immersive sensory activities across this week. We are looking forward to the end of term assemblies which celebrate the achievements of all pupils.

Tuesday, 18th December 10am: Join us for the 'Festive Parent/Carer Coffee Morning' at 10am on Tuesday. The programme will begin with a presentation of the different activities that took place this week through our curriculum focus of the 'Winter Festivals'. The School Charity Trustees are also joining us to share their fundraising plans for the year.

8th January 2024: Training Day for all staff no school for pupils
9th January 2024: First Day for pupils for the Spring Term. Local Authority Transport teams are aware.
12th January 2024: Families will receive the Autumn Term Progress Report, Spring Term Targets (PLIM), Curriculum Map, and Timetable.
15th January - 19th January 2024: The Autumn Term Progress Meetings will take place (this is an optional meeting, families will receive their sign up sheet for preferred meeting slots through the home-school communication book).

Thursday, 21st December is the last day of the Autumn Term. The school day ends at normal time and all transport teams have this update.
