Dear Parents and Carers,

This week, we were delighted to exhibit pupils’ work from our Black History Season project in a vibrant art room showcase.

Lessons were inspired by four incredible Black artists, including Yinka Shonibare, Lakwena Maciver and Frank Bowling. The pupils explored these artists’ work through rich sensory experiences such as milk painting and sculpture. They then used these explorations to create their own fantastic response pieces.

The week culminated in a beautiful exhibition, celebrating the pupils’ creativity, curiosity and hard work – here is a video of some of the highlights from the pupils’ work which we hope you will enjoy.

Coffee Mornings

Upcoming coffee mornings on Tuesdays include a sleep clinic with CAMHs, a meeting with the Camden Short Breaks team, a workshop with Occupational Therapists on how to support your child’s play, as well as a meeting with Senior Leads to share ideas on how we can make the school even better. We hope to see you there.

Next Week

Next week on 20th November we will be celebrating World Children's Day - We're encouraging the world to respect children’s rights. Please help us celebrate by wearing something blue on the day.

Yours Sincerely,

Syra Sowe
Principal (Interim)
